You do not need a cupboard full of equipment. A few practical items can make a stressful situation much easier.
Useful items to keep available
- a small range of pads
- reusable period pants, if your club provides them
- spare underwear in a small range of sizes
- spare shorts or neutral spare kit
- small bags for stained clothing
- tissues
- clear information showing where toilets and private changing spaces are
- a QR code or card linking to trusted period information
Make it easy to access
Players should know where the kit is and who they can ask.
Avoid keeping products somewhere that requires a player to make a public announcement or explain why they need them.
Keep stock simple
Check supplies occasionally and replace anything that has been used. Products should be stored cleanly and according to the manufacturer's instructions.
LTM reusable period pants
If LTM period pants are available through your club or partnership, explain that they are one option, not something a player has to use.
