Safety approach
The Health Hub is here to help you understand your body, ask better questions and find support. We keep our information clear, careful and focused on education, not diagnosis.
Lady Talk Matters shares plain language information about periods, puberty, pelvic pain, endometriosis and getting help. You can use the Hub to learn, prepare for conversations, and find resources to support yourself or someone you care about.
We explain health topics in calm, everyday language so they feel easier to understand.
We help you think about what to track, what to ask and who might be able to support you.
Periods, pain and symptoms can be difficult to talk about. You deserve kind, factual information.
The Health Hub cannot tell you what is happening in your body or replace a doctor, nurse or other healthcare professional. Please get medical help if something feels urgent, severe, unusual or unsafe.
We aim to make every page supportive, accurate and easy to read. The Hub gives general education and signposting. It does not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatment, assess emergencies or replace medical advice.
Luma is being developed to help people ask questions in plain language, prepare for appointments and find useful Lady Talk Matters resources. We are building it with clear limits so it stays focused on education and support.
Luma will not diagnose, recommend individual treatment, replace clinical care or handle emergencies. If a question sounds worrying, Luma should encourage the person to speak to a trusted adult or healthcare professional.
Young people should be able to learn about periods and puberty without fear or embarrassment. We write this content to be clear, kind and age-aware. If you are young and something is worrying you, please speak to an adult you trust, such as a parent, carer, teacher, school nurse, GP or doctor.
