About the Health Hub

Helping people understand their bodies without shame

Lady Talk Matters Health Hub is a calm, factual space for learning about periods, pelvic pain, endometriosis and getting support.

Why the Health Hub exists

Too many people are left to guess what is normal, hide symptoms, or wait too long to ask for help. The Health Hub exists to make menstrual health information easier to understand and easier to talk about.

Here you can find simple explanations, practical resources and supportive guidance for young people, parents, schools and anyone learning about periods, pelvic pain or endometriosis.

Our aim is simple: less shame, less confusion and more confidence when talking about menstrual health.

What you can use it for

  • Understanding periods, puberty and body changes
  • Learning about pelvic pain and when to ask for help
  • Finding clear endometriosis information
  • Supporting a child or young person
  • Using school and educator resources
  • Preparing for appointments and conversations

What we believe

Health information should feel clear, kind and useful

We want the Health Hub to feel supportive, inclusive and practical. The language should be warm without being childish, factual without feeling cold, and honest without creating fear.

Dignity

No shame

Periods, pain and symptoms are not embarrassing. People deserve information that treats their questions with respect.

Clarity

No jargon

We use plain language so people can understand what they are reading and feel more prepared.

Support

No dismissal

If something feels painful, worrying or confusing, it deserves to be taken seriously.

What the Health Hub is not

The Health Hub gives education and support. It does not diagnose, prescribe treatment, assess emergencies or replace medical care. If symptoms feel urgent, severe or worrying, please speak to a trusted adult or healthcare professional.
